Arvin is a global business leader with over 18 years of executive and international experience in commercial strategy, operational excellence, and sustainable growth across the energy and retail sectors. He holds a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Calgary, an Associate Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University and Executive Certificate in Sustainability Strategy and Management from MIT.

Arvin’s involvement with Patient for Patient Safety Canada is deeply personal. After experiencing the profound loss of family members due to preventable healthcare harm, I became committed to driving systemic change. I now use that lived experience to inform policy, guide strategic direction, and advocate for a culture of safety, accountability, and learning across the healthcare system.

“In honor of those who have died, those left disabled, our loved ones today and the world’s children yet to be born, we will strive for excellence, so that all involved in healthcare are as safe as possible as soon as possible.”
